Streaming Hosting

If you plan on hosting videos or large music files, you should probably get streaming hosting. Streaming hosting is different from normal web hosting in a few different ways.

What is streaming hosting?

Streaming hosting is web hosting for streaming media files. These media files could be videos or music. Although you could stream video or music from a normal web host, it is a lot better do it with streaming hosting.

Streaming hosting companies will provide you with many tools to create your audio or video stream. You can make live streams or stream recordings that have been made in the past. You can create streams that can be viewed in many places – from Windows Media Player, through a web browser, or one of many other options.

With many streaming hosting plans, you won’t have a normal web host. If you plan on hosting a website, you will probably need another web hosting plan to do this. This isn’t true about all streaming hosting plans, though.

When to use streaming hosting?

You should only use streaming hosting if you want to host an audio or video stream. If you are looking for normal web hosting, you should NOT get streaming hosting. With many streaming hosting plans, you only get a media streaming server, not a web server.

Make sure that you purchase the correct streaming hosting plan. There are streaming hosting plans for different types of streaming servers. You can get a Windows Media player stream, a ShoutCAST stream, or a few other types of streams. I don’t know what the exact differences between the different types of streams are. You should research and make sure that you get the stream that works best for you.

There is a lot of revenue waiting in media. Many websites offer text, but less offer audio and video.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
